Lax Rat Supply Co. is built for the players who live and breathe lacrosse, and it wears that label with pride.
Where Lax Rat Comes From
In lacrosse slang, a lax rat is the player who's always at the field with a stick in hand. Some people say it as a knock. We've always taken it as a compliment, so we built a brand around it.
The "Supply Co." part is a nod to the old sporting goods shops where the person behind the counter knew the game as well as you did. We wanted the brand to have that same feel.
Straight Off the Ball Box
Our colors come from the old Brine lacrosse ball boxes a lot of us grew up with. That red block with the orange and yellow stripes was always sitting around in someone's garage or gear bag, and it felt like the right starting point for a brand that looks back at the game's history.
Everything is built to feel like it came out of a sporting goods catalog from the 70s and 80s, with flat colors and worn, cracked ink that looks like it's already been through a few seasons.
